From our kitchen to yours

Try this refreshing summer salad.

Broccoli Salad

Salad

1 broccoli bunch

1/2 c chopped celery

 1/2 c red onion

1/2 c raisins

1 can water chestnuts

1/2 lb cooked bacon (turkey bacon works here as well)

 

Dressing

1 c mayo ( can substitute plain yogurt for a healthier alternative)

1 tbs apple cider vinegar 

1/2 c sugar (try splenda for a lower calorie version)

Mix together the salad in a bowl and the dressing in a separate bowl.  Combine together and chill a few hours before serving. 

This recipe can be doubled very easily and is a favorite among all staff members in the office and their families. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
